Wild, Relaxed and Romantic Photography
Hey!
Ich bin Karo, ursprünglich aus Deutschland, und lebe inzwischen in den Highlands von Schottland – meinem bewusst gewählten Zuhause. Ich empfinde es als großes Privileg, jeden Tag in dieser wilden, rohen Natur verbringen zu dürfen. Ja, ich liebe es, bei Regen lange Wanderungen zu machen. Wind macht mir nichts aus und ich genieße das raue Meer sehr. Aber genauso schön finde ich es, wenn es ruhig ist und man die Vögel hören kann. Ich liebe es, wenn die Sonne den Menschen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert. Mein Lieblingslicht ist dieses besondere Licht, wenn die untergehende Sonne nach einem langen Regentag zwischen den Wolken hervorblinzelt. Dieses Licht findet man in vielen meiner Bilder wieder.
Für mich ist Fotografie nicht nur das Festhalten von Momenten – Fotografie ist Kunst. Es geht nicht nur darum, Augenblicke einzufangen, sondern Emotionen.

Was ich im Laufe der Jahre gelernt habe, ist, dass uns das wirklich schön macht, was wir fühlen und wie wir das ausdrücken. Du selbst zu sein, ist das, was dich fotogen macht – und genau das zählt.
Vielleicht bist du nervös, vielleicht liebst du es, fotografiert zu werden. Beides ist völlig in Ordnung. Meistens sind meine Shootings sehr entspannt. Wir gehen vielleicht ein Stück spazieren und quatschen ein bisschen oder trinken eine Tasse Tee im Studio. Ich gebe dir ein paar kleine Anweisungen, aber ich achte immer darauf, dass du dich wohlfühlst.

Wenn du dir meine Instagram-Stories angeschaut hast, ist dir vielleicht aufgefallen, dass Sam dort ziemlich oft zu sehen ist. Dieses Foto von uns ist ein Selbstporträt, das wir an einem warmen Tag in Deutschland gemacht haben.
Sam ist hauptberuflich Musiker und ein sehr talentierter Hochzeitsfotograf. Früher haben wir Hochzeiten gemeinsam fotografiert, aber seit unserer Familienzuwachs – unserem kleinen Schatz – haben wir beschlossen, eine Pause einzulegen. Jetzt kannst du entweder Sam oder mich buchen. Kein Stress, wenn du dich für Sam entscheidest, haha!
