Wild, Relaxed and Romantic Photography
Hey!
I am Karo from Germany. Now I live in the Highlands of Scotland. My home of choice and I call myself incredibly privileged to spend every day in this raw nature. Yes, I love going for long hikes in the rain. I don’t mind the wind and I really enjoy the rough sea. But I also like it when it´s calm and you can hear the birds. I like it when the sun puts a smile on peoples faces. My favourite light is when the setting sun is peeking out of the clouds after a long day of rain. You will see this kind of light in a lot of my images.
Photography to me is not just taking snapshots - it´s creating art. It´s not just capturing moments - it´s capturing emotions.

What I learned over the years is that the thing that makes us all truly beautiful is carrying out our feelings through emotions. Being yourself is what makes you photogenic and that´s it!
You might be nervous or you might love having your photo taken. It´s both totally fine. Usually my photo-shootings are very relaxed. We might go for a little walk and chat or we might have a cup of tea in the studio. I will give you a few directions but I will always make sure that you are comfortable.
This is us! Sam and me, aka husband and wife:) If you had a look at my Insta stories you might have noticed Sam featuring in quite a few of them. This photo of us was a self-portrait we took on a warm day in Germany. Sam is a full-time musician AND a very talented wedding photographer. We used to shoot weddings together but since our addition to the family - our wee one - we decided to take a break. Now you can book either Sam or me. No hard feelings if you choose Sam instead of me, haha!
