Personal data I collect and why I collect it
I collect your name, your email address, your mobile number and your address. All of this is necessary for me to do my job. When you inquire I´ll only collect your name and e-mail address. When you book a photo-shoot I will collect all of the above. I need to know your name in order to get to know you a bit and I need your e-mail address in order to communicate with you. I need your phone number to be able to communicate on the day of the event quickly and in case sth goes wrong and your address is to send you your prints and usb stick with your photographs.
How I collect and keep your personal data
When you fill in my contact form on my website I´ll get an e-mail send to my g-mail account. This account is private and password protected. You e-mail address also gets stored on my website database which is also private and password protected.
If you go ahead with booking me as your wedding photographer, I will store your email on in a secure folder on my Laptop and on my external hard drive. In order to send you your online gallery I use your name and e-mail address on a secure online gallery provider. Your information will be stored via on this secure online gallery provider on a private and password protected database.
Regenweibchen Photography website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides Regenweibchen Photography with the online platform that allows us to sell services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. If you order prints then this will be handled though the online gallery provider Shootproof.com. Before you enter any details on their site you will have to agree to Shootproofs terms and conditions and Shootproofs privacy policy. This information will be shown to you before entering any information.
Right of confirmation, access, rectification and erasure
If you have questions about how your personal data is handled please let me know via e-mail and I will help you. I’m happy to show you the information you shared with me. If some of the information I have about you is wrong, you have the right to correct it, which is important for making sure I contact the right person before our photo shoot! If you’d like me to delete all your personal data, you have the right to request it. I do keep email addresses, names and phone numbers of my Clients in the database for the duration that I provide Clients online galleries and in case the Client wishes to work with me again or has any other inquiries after the initial booking.

Use of your data
I will use your email to email you about any shoots or business you do with me. If there’s something related to your shoot I will email you that as well. If there’s something unrelated to your shoot I will email you about that too. Sometimes if we find each other on Instagram or Facebook or other social media accounts I will if we both prefer I´ll also message you there. I wouldn’t give your email or any data out to anyone else. I also won’t be sending you lots of newsletters.
I sometimes use a questionnaire that asks you for details about our photo shoot, that doesn’t go anywhere but my computer and then into a pdf on my password locked phone, so I can have look at it on the way to the photo shoot. Any information I request from you is entirely voluntary. In order to book a shoot it is nessecary though for you to fill in your name, email address and home address. That's all I need from you in order to book a photo shoot successfully.
Sometimes your shoot looks really interesting to an independent publisher, and they may ask my permission to use some pictures and maybe some information like your name and your story. I will never submit any of your information without your consent.
Use of your face-based data
If a third party does approach me asking me to buy one of your photos, I will email you about it. I will never sell any of your photos without your consent.
I usually use pictures from photo-shoots on my portfolio on my website and social media accounts. This is all written in the contract and if you wish for me to not share any photos of you I will take that bit out of the contract. I´ll also ask you again after the photo-shoot to make sure you haven't changed your mind. In my social media posts I will also use your first name and tag your social media to the picture. I won't use your full name or give out any other information about you. I won't use any pictures of wedding guests for my portfolio. I will only use pictures of children if I got their parents consent. If you don't like certain photos you can let me know and I won't publish them.
The same goes for video. I will ask you before publishing a video of you and will not give any information other than your name and social media handle in addition to the video.
I store photos and videos on hard drives in my house. I also keep a copy of photographs with an online gallery provider that is GDPR compliant.

I will always do my best to make sure your information is secure. I will only share your information with third parties with your consent.
